Site fences, concrete, advertising posters, glossy paper, adhesive tape, dispersion glue
Variable dimensions

The carefully placed building site fence directs the pathway of the visitors through the narrow exhibition space. The geometric lines of the fence function as a framework, which the artist uses as the compositional basis for a three-dimensional collage. Building site fences covered with advertising posters are everywhere in urban space. In the exhibition the artist reconstructs this familiar city landscape with colored glossy paper and tape. Individual pieces of paper were initially taped onto the fence, and subsequently either the inner part of the paper was cut away or the piece was torn off completely, so that only corners or small strips of paper remain hanging on the metal, forming a composition of dots and lines. The act of removal and the absence of images create a new abstract image.
